RelixQ Academy
Learn cryptography. Understand exposure. Prepare for what comes next.
Self-paced courses on post-quantum cryptography and harvest-now-decrypt-later exposure, written for engineers, security teams, and the leaders who have to fund the migration. Every course ends in a final assessment and a certificate you can verify.

Courses are grouped by who they are written for, not by product feature.
Foundations
What quantum computing changes about cryptography, and what it does not.
Anyone new to post-quantum cryptography, from any technical background.
Security
Exposure, data lifetime, harvestability, and how to decide what to migrate first.
Security engineers, architects, developers, and risk owners.
Leadership
The organizational decisions, ownership, and governance a migration program needs.
CISOs, CIOs, CTOs, engineering leaders, and enterprise architects.

Post-Quantum Cryptography Foundations
Quantum computing does not threaten all cryptography equally. This course separates what actually breaks — the public-key cryptography behind TLS, VPNs, and code signing — from what does not, walks through the NIST standards that replace it, and ends with the practical shape of a migration: what to inventory, how to prioritize it, and how to build systems that can change their cryptography again when the next standard arrives.

HNDL
Harvest Now, Decrypt Later Fundamentals
Harvest-now-decrypt-later (HNDL) risk exists before any quantum computer does: an adversary who can capture protected data today can decrypt it later, once a cryptographically relevant quantum computer exists. This course builds a repeatable way to reason about that exposure — from a single piece of data, through how long it must stay confidential and where it can actually be captured, to what cryptography really protects it and whether migration is already late. Prior completion of [PQC Foundations](/academy/pqc-foundations) is recommended but not required.

For security and technology leaders
Post-Quantum Readiness for Leaders
Post-quantum migration is now a leadership decision: the core cryptographic standards are final, deadline pressure is already real for parts of the economy, and organizations that wait for certainty end up migrating on someone else's timeline. This course gives security and technology leaders a framework for inventory, prioritization, funding, and governance, without requiring a cryptography background. It stands alone: it has no prerequisite, and it does not assume you will take any other course or become a customer of any product.

How a course works
Every course follows the same shape.
- 01
Read a lesson
Four to eight minutes, built around one idea at a time.
- 02
See it explained visually
Diagrams and worked examples carry the idea, not just prose.
- 03
Work a practical example
Applied to a scenario an engineer or a CISO actually faces.
- 04
Take a knowledge check
Immediate feedback, not scored — it teaches, it does not gate.
- 05
Pass the final assessment
Scenario-based questions, graded server-side, 80% to pass.
- 06
Earn a certificate
A signed, verifiable credential — see what it does and does not prove below.

The word "Certified" is reserved for the professional tier, which proves hands-on ability against real material. That tier is not built yet.
PQC Foundations — Certificate of Completion
Awarded on completing PQC Foundations.
HNDL Fundamentals — Certificate of Completion
Awarded on completing HNDL Fundamentals.
PQC for Leaders — Certificate of Completion
Awarded on completing PQC for Leaders.
RelixQ Certified Practitioner (RCP)
Requires hands-on labs against the product that do not exist yet. Not available to start today.
RelixQ Certified Expert (RCE)
Requires hands-on labs against the product that do not exist yet. Not available to start today.
Progress through a course — completed lessons, your last assessment attempt, and any certificate you have earned — is stored only in this browser's local storage. The Academy has no account system yet, so there is nowhere else for it to live: clearing site data or switching browsers starts a course over.
